Subversion for Code/File Management
Have you wondered how you can maintain your code such as merging your code, keeping track of revisions, and managing users write code for you? I always use either Perforce Subversion when I'm at work. At home, I use TortoiseSVN client and on my local. The TortoisesSVN from http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/ is a great svn client to use on local or for team. I usually use it to manage my own project. It allows you to do lot of great things for me that would take me hours if I do it on my own.

If you look at the screenshot, you can see that there are lot of options that you can use. From, comparing the different files with one version and new one to revert them back to original versions is one of the unique features of the subversion. So, if you ever find yourself needing that, check out the TortoiseSVN.

My Comment to @Dien Thai
Hi Dien! When I read your comment the first time I was wondering what SVN meant? I was so intrigued so as any person who is not familiar with the term I looked at Wikipedia to search for information about the term. I want to say one more time that I am amazed by the programming world. I am planning that as soon as I finish my masters I will try hard to begin learning how to program, I can't wait to begin. I feel that it can bring a "universe of possibilities" on how to design and create content for face-to-face and virtual educational environments. I would love to begin training inside Second Life (SL) so I think it will be quite necessary to begin working on this new project that I have in mind. I have a question Can this software compare to Time Machine? I know this software is more sophisticated than Time Machine since it also reverts and maintains historical versions of programming codes. This kind of software has to be a great tool and lifesaver for game developers as you. Thanks for sharing!
